Sponsored review - Dermalogica SkinPerfect Primer SPF30

When I first saw this product at the dermalogica launch party a few months back, I was immediately intrigued. It boasts both skin health and cosmetic benefits all in a tinted primer. It helps to even the texture of the skin as well as delivering critical SPF protection against skin-ageing UV light.

The best part, it really does deliver what it promises. The primer just melts into your skin, reducing the appearance of your pores and leaving it lightly moisturised and ready for your make up. It helps your makeup stay put for an all day flawless look.

It's also slightly tinted so it can be worn alone, for a very natural look. The natural earth minerals blend away discoloration, while polymers prime the surface for a soft, matte effect and create greater adhesion for make-up on the skin’s surface.

The science behind the primer -
The primer addresses skin ageing concerns with its mix of antioxidant White Tea, peptides and Sodium Hyaluronate protect the skin from further damage while stimulating collagen replenishment and helping to hydrate. Silica fills in fine lines, absorbs excess oil, and helps the product cling to the skin, while Pearl powder and Soy Protein help even out skin tone and stimulate cell renewal to ensure a smoother, perfectly prepped ‘canvas’ ready for make-up application.

And it smells divine! With a light lavender scent naturally derived from the essential oils in the primer. The product comes in a long thin tube, with a small nozzle. Which stops u from squeezing too much out

Left to right: bare skin, Dermalogica primer, primer with foundation.
The primer evens the skin tone, with no white sunscreen glow and no oily look.

RRP $79 AUD
Rating 5/5

I am defiantly going to repurchase this product when it runs out! It's defiantly a new favorite, and has worked it way into my daily makeup routine.
