Review - Bobbi Brown Mineral foundation

I picked up my free sample of Bobbi brown mineral foundation last week. So generally Bobbi Brown make up is really good quality, and this mineral powder is no exception.
Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup SPF 15

I have tested it a few times, as a foundation and as a finishing powder.

Unfortunately they were only giving out the medium shade, probably 1shade too dark for me. But the actual product itself is really good, it gives a fantastic coverage for a mineral powder, mind you this is still only a light coverage compared to a liquid foundation. I found it did help to cover a little redness/uneven skin tone.

The Sample, it doesn't actually say the volume on the container. The medium shade has  quite a yellow base to it.
As a finishing powder it is alright, its keeps the foundation in place and because of the colour it worked well as a contourer for me. In terms of staying power, it does last pretty well only fading a little during the day, and like pretty much anything it will come off a little in the oiliest spots of your face.

Swatch, goes from star to star, its pretty hard to see, apart from the patch being slightly darker
The feel of the powder is also a lot rougher then other mineral powders , with the particles clumping very easily in the container, so you really do have to swirl the brush round in the container to break the clumps. Otherwise it really doesn't provide very even or long lasting coverage.

Overall it is a pretty good mineral powder in terms of coverage and lasting ability, however the texture of the product doesn’t make it the most comfortable powder to wear or the easiest to use.
