Review - Maybelline dream liquid mousse foundation

I read such good reviews of this product on Primped.com.au and as I was just about to run out of my current foundation (Revlon Colour stay)  I thought id give this one a go. I bought this when Priceline was having a buy 2 get one free sale, which they have on their big cosmetics brands every few months.
DreamLMousse

they have quite a good selection of shades with both yellow and pink bases. Its always good to test the foundation colour and consistency before you buy it. The back of your hand which is where most people test products is actually a different colour to your face; so if you can test it on your face or neck to get the best match.

I was surprised how light this product actually is, its super silky and glides onto your skin. One thing I have found is that because the product is so light and comes out as a mousse you end up needing a little more than you would think. It may sound like a bad thing, but unlike other foundations you can easily choose from a light to full coverage with the product, without getting streaks or caking on your face.

I use one pump for a light-medium coverage and two for a fuller coverage. You gotta love the fact it comes with a pump as well!

Because the product is like a mouse and thins out when it is buffed into the skin it ends up a little lighter,  so i could have even gone a shade darker. Although come winter time the colour will be perfect.

One bonus of this product is no white ghostly faces in photos! The foundation contains no SPF which is perfect for wearing out at night! (You can always add a SPF powder on top or sunscreen underneath for during the day).

The foundation really does what it claims! Giving you a nice airbrushed look all over, and because its super light weight its easy to blend into the side of your face (so no ugly foundation mask look)

As for how long it lasts, it generally stays on all day through heat and light moisture.

Rating: 4/5

Defiantly going to buy this one again!
